Jacob Batalon and Veronica Leahov said “I do” — again!
The actor, 29, and the interior designer, 34, first tied the knot in a private courthouse ceremony and have not shared the date publicly. After Batalon’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day global press tour, the newlyweds commemorated their marriage with their families and closest friends during a “timeless, romantic and elegant” three-day wedding celebration in the south of France Aug. 25–27.

It served as an exterior filming location for "The Count of Monte Cristo"—a massive hit by Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de La Patellière, starring Pierre Niney and released in 2024. Located in Ferrières-en-Brie, in the Seine-et-Marne department, the Château de Ferrières was built in 1829 for Baron James de Rothschild and was inaugurated by Napoleon III three decades later.

Between Avignon and Sarrians, Alena and Mason set down their bags in Provence for a wedding weekend deeply imbued with the spirit of the region. The festivities began in Avignon, at a site steeped in history: the majestic Palais des Papes (Palace of the Popes). It was within the gardens of this 14th-century papal residence that the American couple welcomed their 125 guests. For the occasion, an authentic Provençal market was recreated in this secluded green space—a spot which, incidentally, once offered direct access from the Sovereign Pontiff’s own private apartments. There were sachets of lavender, bottles of olive oil, boxes of *calissons*…

Crillon-Le-Brave
Halfway between Carpentras and Avignon lies Crillon-le-Brave, a charming stone village in the Luberon, perched on one of the foothills of Mont Ventoux and facing the striking Dentelles de Montmirail. The village is home to the hotel of the same name—managed by the hospitality group Maisons Pariente—which is composed of about a dozen historic houses overlooking vineyards and olive groves.
