Dreamy French wedding shoots are just one of the things we love the most about what we see every day on the blog... It is so nice to witness the vendors's work revealed on every little detail. But this shoot has a little something very special. What is it? The fact that the couple is a real married couple who wanted to keep incredible memories of their wedding anniversary, two years after the actual wedding. Spoil alert, surprises are coming at the end of the article! But you should just relax and enjoy discovering this inspiration shoot designed and shot by Thomas Audiffren, wedding photographer, in the romantic Bastide du Roy, a few kilometers away from Cannes on the French Riviera!
From Thomas Audiffren... This styled shoot is dedicated to a sweet wedding anniversary, something that we could describe as an elopement fantasy, blue inspired and intimate with, for example, a two seats table for the two lovers, nothing more. Our goal was to create a very elegant, soft and romantic styled shoot, trying to find a balance between a fashion approach and a lifestyle touch. This approach is enhanced by the incredible work of Julien Matha with the hairstyle and Amandine Poisson for the make up.
Our color palette and texture elements contributed to the wedding venue’s refinement with wonderful both French and Spanish gardens and, at the same time, the evidence of the couple's complicity with a love that has been growing for more than six years between these two. The delicate blue inspired stationary created by Promesse Graphique perfectly combined the quality of a refined textured paper and the colors’ softness that is rarely witnessed in "fine art" weddings.
The vibrancy of the bride's flower bouquet designed and created by Sander Smids appeared as the perfect trace to reveal our unconventional approach for this shoot. The flowers are deconstructed and choosen to fit with the simple table with these specific colour tones brightened by the presence of deep red gooseberries. The final touch for the table was brought by the Gaston Chiquet house’s champagne that brough life and friendliness to the decor. Of course the bride and groom really had the occasion to taste and enjoy it during the wedding anniversary! The Australian sheperd, Mia, masquotte of the Bastide du Roy, also gave us a glance of happiness and some crazy laughs during the day.
As you will see on the photos below, love brings (not so) unexpected surprises such as a bigger family enriched by a marvelous daughter, Margot, and an unleashed french bulldog, Nestor. Such a pleasure for the team to have the chance to enjoy a great moment with amazing couples such as Amélie and Rémi !
